GEN302 Fundamentals of Innovation & Entrepreneurship - Emirates College of Technology
For this project, pick a problem to solve in an Etisalat located in UAE. Use the design thinking skills that you learned to identify a specific pain point for customers/clients, employees, or both.
Choose one problem from below examples or suggest one problem from your side.
Examples:
1. There has been a shortage of the company's financial accounts.
2. The employee's problem with the manager may be the problem of discrimination (that the manager did not give him the promotion he deserves and gave it to someone else who has not achieved any achievements in the company.
3. The problem of not keeping up with technology and product development and the emergence of rival companies dominated the market.
4. Suggest problem form your side
You need to conduct four interviews should be conducted and a short summary of each interview should be turned in with your project (be sure not as question & answer), produce a journey map, generate at least one "How Might We" question, Ideas for solutions and brainstorming and come up with at least three possible solutions.

Note: Pick up only one problem from above examples and write about it in different ways (sub sections) in the 4 interviews and each of interview write what can be suggested 3 solution to solve this problem at the end of each interview.
Project structures:
1. Cover pages include the title of the problem chosen + company name.
2. A table of contents
3. An introduction summary of (describe the Etisalat, what is the problem issue faced in the company, use design thinking process & steps in your project, the way we solved and how we noticed and how we thought and how we analyzed the way, and 3 solutions for the problems faced)
4. Applying the design thinking process in the 4 interviews.
5. Risk taking at every stage of the project (e.g. nature of problem explored, who is interviewed, ideas carried forward, approach to the presentation, etc.).
6. Carrying forward multiple insights and ideas.
7. Showing where you have learned from feedback and how it has affected your solution.
8. Conducting interviews that reveal needs.
9. An Empathy map that shows the interviewees' insights: both their observations and inferences.
10. A journey map that reflects what was learned in the interview and yields new insights.
11. A "How Might We" question that reflects a need identified in the interview, perhaps something revealed in the journey map (Something that wouldn't have been obvious prior to interviewing).
12. At least 3 possible solutions that emerge from brainstorming (idea generation) that could be explored/prototyped.
