Develop a line-item budget using the format outlined in our text for your hypothetical program, based on the activities, staffing and other resources required to implement the program. Identify a specific cost for each component of the program. Include a budget narrative to further define the line items in your program budget. Remember, according to the Foundation Center, grantmakers often look at the budget first when reviewing proposals.
