3. Identify a decision-making bias, such as framing, sunk cost fallacy, attribution error, etc., define the bias and share an example of the bias. Do not share an example from the textbook.
4. Identify a probability bias, such as representative bias, illusory correlation effect, alternation bias, etc., define the bias and share an example of the bias. Do not share an example from the textbook.
5. Identify at least one tool and technique to reduce bias.
6. Select one of the strategies for overcoming common or prevalent cognitive bias and discuss how you would apply the strategy to reduce cognitive bias.
The strategies are:
- Slow down thinking and use detailed risk criteria.
- Use documents and other tools to broaden the context of risk assessments.
- Use probability estimates cautiously.
- Engineer interactions to manage social bias.
