It is important for us to teach our children about good nutrition and how to eat healthily because children need a variety of nutrients to promote growth and development, while helping to reduce risk of disease. Of equal importance to nutrition education, it is essential we provide resources to help ensure infants and children have access to wholesome foods, and work to eliminate childhood hunger. No child should ever go to bed hungry!
