Unit 6 Assignment: Treatment or Prevention Programs

For this Assignment, identify a local drug treatment and/or prevention program in your community, such as a treatment facility, specific prevention program in a school system, or after-school program aimed at at-risk children. You will then evaluate the program in terms of:

1. the primary function of the program
2. the clients served
3. specific aspects of the program (staffing, funding, budgets, specific processes used, etc.)
4. the effectiveness of the program as related to the psychological and sociological theories related to drug use and abuse

In addition to fulfilling the specifics of the Assignment, a successful paper must also meet the following criteria:
