Here is what you will need to do:

Identify a job that interests you. Look for the average salary today for that job and the average salary in 1970. It might help to designate a specific state. Example: researching "average teacher salary" I found $58,780 for 2021. For 1970, I found $9,268
Find the average price of a house in 1970 and today. Again, designating a specific state may make it easier.
Find the average price of a car in 1970 and today.
