Part 1 - Report
You are asked to produce a report that identifies NESES's new network requirements. You should suggest a network solution that demonstrates the appropriateness and suitability of your design. Whilst outlining reasons for your preferred solution you should identify your choice of equipment & protocol.
You should ensure that design is in line with current design models and you should clear show how your networks design maps to it. You can assume that all internet connectivity is via one centrally managed point, however any remote access will be local to that service.
Part 2 - Practical
Using Packet Tracer you should build your preferred solution to demonstrate both the required functionally and fault tolerance to the Group Management Team.
You should configure all virtual devices as per your preferred solution and be able to demonstrate the required functionality and fault tolerance.
As you may not be the consultant who will perform the network upgrade for NESES you must ensure that all devices and connections are correctly specified, labelled and configured.
Part 3 - Analysis
Using Riverbed Modeler, you should run simulations on your network design to identify any bottlenecks and points of failure with your network design, and you will need to show empirical evidence for the minimum link speed requirements between all nodes.
