Question

Sally is a 32-year-old first time mother. Her healthy baby girl was born 3 days ago. Upon discharge from the postpartum unit, she admits to you, the postpartum nurse, that she still feels moody, sad, and has had trouble sleeping even though she is tired After reviewing your assigned scenario, consider your own thoughts on postpartum depression: Identify the client's symptoms and hypothesize whether they are experiencing postpartum blues, postpartum depression, or postpartum psychosis.
