You are a training manager for a large company. Due to a significant decrease in your organization's training budget, you have been tasked to migrate your organization's traditional classroom training so it can be delivered at a "distance" to reduce travel and per diem costs. Your supervisor has asked you to provide a comprehensive list of instructional media that can be used to deliver instruction via distance learning. For this assignment, your report, at a minimum, must include the following items:

• Identification of the instructional media that can be used to deliver instruction at a distance (broadcast instruction, audio-video conferencing, correspondence, Web-based instruction, computer-based instruction, etc.)
• Description of the strengths and weaknesses of each of the above instructional media
• Definition of synchronous and asynchronous learning environments and the specific instructional media that best supports each environment
• Identification of some metrics used in the selection of the most appropriate instructional media for distance learning
• Discussion of how to evaluate whether the selection was successful
