You will be looking at the importance of identity. You will be examining which form of identification creates a more fluid and functional society. It is apparent that as we are moving forward as a country and community, we do not want to deal with anything we find unacceptable; how then do we establish unification and cohesion?

Remember, you live in a nation that allows you to be whom you choose or say if others don't like it.

Many people coming here from another country don't have this privilege or accept this ideal.

You will represent a Multiculturalist or Cultural Pluralistic perspective emphasizing Chicana/Chicano.

Explain what Multiculturalism or Cultural Pluralism is by your definition, but do not let it be removed from the universal definition.

Explain how you will incorporate taboo identities such as Nazi, White Supremacist, Black Supremacist, Afro-Centric, Pedophile, Rapist, et cetera.

How do you address new identities such as those choosing to be different species, non - binary, neutral, et cetera?

Present how this perception provides a benefit for society and why.

I want you to research Chicana/o + Mexican American + Latina/o identity. Look for stereotypes, generalizations, perceptions, labels, religious views, barriers, and issues.
