Question 1. The prevalence of cybercrimes is increasing globally. Identify and explain five techniques which online shopping organisations can adopt to protect themselves and their customers from hackers.
Question 2. (i) Susan is the head of technical support for Paraplaxis technologies. Paraplaxis technologies is a new company. This organisation is experiencing financial challenges due to the impact of COVID-19. In order to improve the cash flow of the company, Susan suggested to the Chief financial Officer (CIO) that she would install pirated software on their organisational computers since software licences are expensive for the company.
The CIO Mr Thompson rejected Susan's suggestion because he believes in promoting a working environment in which employees are encouraged to act ethically when making business decisions. Discuss five reasons why Mr Thompson's decision is important for the development of Paraplaxis technologies.
