I am participating in YFEL (Young Future Energy Leaders) at Masdar institute in Abu Dhabi. It is a one year program where we attend courses and workshops in the clean energy area. I have attended the following courses until now:

1. Liquid Natural Gas Course,

2.Water Science and Technology Course ,

3. Satellite and Earth Observation Course,

4. World Future Energy Summit 2014

Write an essay that I will be chosen according to it. As part of engaging our young members to be active in the field of advanced energy and sustainability, the YFEL program offers you a great opportunity of attending a 10 days program developed as a joint initiative with the Japanese Government in japan from the 17th -30 of August 2014. The YFEL- Japan Government joint initiative aims to provide you with series of lectures, field trips to industrial and academic institutions and meetings with high ranking officials. Only five UAE nationals will be selected to attend this comprehensive program and the selection will be based on an essay assignment.

The following points should be covered in the essay:

a. Why do you consider yourself to be the best candidate to attend this trip?

b. How do you plan to benefit from this trip?

c. Your educational/ career background and how does it relate to the trip?

d. How active are you as a YFEL member.
