1. In a study, results were presented for a sample of 63 men who were asked to report their actual weight and their ideal weight. The mean difference between actual and ideal weight was 2.48 pounds, and the standard deviation of the differences was 13.77 pounds. Is there sufficient evidence to conclude that for the population of men represented by this sample the actual and ideal weights differ, on average? Justify your answer by showing all steps of a hypothesis test.
