Hypothesis: Democrats and Republicans differ with respect to attitudes. Random samples of 10 Republicans and 10 Democrats are selected and each subject is given a test. The scores are then compared.  

Democrats: 14, 8, 10, 12, 3, 10, 12, 10, 9, 8

Republicans: 13, 10, 11, 14, 8, 12, 14,12,10,10
