Suppose that you conducted your own experiment where you investigated bacterial diversity. Consider all of the locations that bacteria reside and all of the products that have been developed to kill "99.9% of bacteria." Decide which surfaces, locations, conditions or products you would like to compare. Be sure that there is some logic or link between your surfaces. You are given four agar plates, sterile swabs and sterile broth. What would be a hypothesis for your bacterial diversity investigation. What are your independent and dependent variables?
