Jeremy Suss, the manager of a computer software company, wishes to study the number of hours that senior executives by type of industry spend at their desktop computers.  Jeremy selected a sample of five executives from each of three industries and recorded the following data.  He is going to us ANOVA to determine if there is a significant difference in the average number of hours between the three industries.

a.  What would be the hypotheses for this test?

b.  Can Jeremy conclude that there is a difference in the mean number of hours spent by executives in the three different industries? What are you basing this conclusion on?

c.  Calculate the appropriate confidence intervals (Bk vs Ret, Bk vs Man, Ret vs Man) to determine where the difference lies. Use t value of 2.179 in your calculations.
