The company policy is, remarkably, against any discrimination. Country X is renowned for its multicultural social structure and gender inequality in every sphere of social life. The country also has a bad reputation in terms of poor decent work conditions in workplaces.
Despite these contextual problems, your office is very committed to the company's HR policies. Because the headquarter associates company success in business with the competencies and efforts of each employee. This belief manifests itself in the stringent HR policies.
Moreover, your office has invested in a costly computerized human resource information system (HRIS). The HRIS enables the company to record everything from job titles to demographics, attendance, and sales levels for each employee.
As a twist of faith, your promotion has coincided with a difficult period. The figures for profit and sales have far below expectations so far.
