Assignment: Interview Assignment
Working in your teams: Contact an organization and interview a Human Resource Practitioner or Manager to determine and analyze the following:
• The organization's overall approach to managing its relationship with its employees.
• The position of the human resources department in the organization (impact, strategy, etc.)
• The involvement of the human resources department in key functional areas of human resources management (i.e. the various chapters covered in our class, for example: recruitment & selection).
Then, use Worksheet A (in the next page) to assist you in organizing the written part of the assignment. You do not have to include all items from the Worksheet into your written report. The ones stat say "Mandatory" have to be included in the report.You may use the Worksheet as a guide or choose to include other relevant HR/organizational information in the report.

Mandatory: A brief description of the employer in terms of industry/sector, organization/institution size, range of products/services, competitive business environment, record of performance.
