Medical Terminology: Human Disease Project

Project 1: The student will demonstrate his/her knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Note:
The student will research the disease using a minimum of three references. Such as Center for Disease Control (CDC), the National Institute of Health (NIH) websites, professional journal, or scholarly magazine.

The Students will create a presentation that creatively demonstrates what they know about the disease using Prezi, Power point, etc. and upload into Blackboard.

1. Provide a description of the disease.
2. List Signs and symptoms of the disease (use Medical Terminology Words)
3. Is there a cure? Why or why not?
4. Give brief description of why you selected the disease.

Note: This project is comprised of 2(two) parts.

The project has two parts. First is the PowerPoint presentation of 10 (ten) slides or something else you chose to use to make your presentation (Note that, the same project title should be the same for both the presentation and the essay project). See the example on the format given for your guidance. AND

The second part is the 4-5-page essay. Submit a cover sheet with the name of the course, Professor's name and his or her own name.
