Problem:

You are the HR manager of a medium size UK electronics firm (ABC Electronics) making components for the telephone industry. The types of products you manufacture are high volume and high quality parts such as microphones and speakers. You wish to set up a factory in another country in order to enter the global market. The UK factory has a labor force of semi-skilled assemblers, supervisors, project engineers and quality testers together with a support team of administrators and HR specialists.

Choose a country outside the UK and carry out research into the HRM issues that you will have to take into account whenresourcing and managing the new factory. Present your written report to the directors of the company. Use a formal report style.

This question is it basically from Human Resource Management which discuss about the Human Resource Management issues or factors that contribute towards the entire performance of organization. As per the question, a foreign country has to be selected for setting up electronics manufacturing plant.
