Case Study: Chad is a 22 year old assistant to the regional manager at Mark's Muscle Emporium. Chad lives to workout and party. He believes his best features are his biceps and his ability to slam beers, bro! Chad exclusively fuels his muscles with chicken, protein shakes, and pre-workout. Any time not spent at the gym is spent at raves, where he indulges in copious amounts of cocaine and often does not return home until it's light outside, something that makes it even more difficult for him to get enough sleep. However, Chad's lifestyle is starting to catch up with him as he often finds his heart racing during the workday and his physician has observed a large increase in his blood pressure over the last two months, although he is not yet hypertensive. Chad's physician believes he has developed an arrythmia, although is unsure which one at this point. Chad is very much still in denial, as he previously considered himself to be invincible like Superman and has no intention of stopping his partying ways any time soon.
