Case Study Background - It has been established that the WHS committee will met at least every three (3) months or in special circumstances, as required at the request of 50% or more of the committee members, which is consistent with the Model WHS Act 2011 Section 78.
It has been two (2) week since the last formal WHS committee meeting and one (1) of the WHS Committee members informs you that several staff in manufacturing have raised concerns, that designated forklift pathways are not clearly marked and in busy periods, they are blocked with product parts overflow and in one (1) incident this morning a delivery was dropped off in front of the forklift preventing access all together.
Your fellow WHS committee member, has told you that the individuals who raised the concern/s would like to remain anonymous, as they feel management would not look favourable on them raising these concerns.
