Watch "Conducting a SWOT Analysis" and "Extracting Insights from a SWOT Analysis" in Section 2, "Defining the Strategic Environment," from "Strategic Planning Foundations" by Mike Figliuolo from LinkedIn Learning. These sections will help you learn how to assess the market using a SWOT and how to use those insights to shape your organization's strategic direction.
Using the same organization that you selected in Week 1 (UBER), review its corporate website and at least 2 other sources of information on the organization, including information on market trends. Review your chosen organization in the Case Studies folder, as needed.
Part C
Write a 525 words summary of your analysis. Use information from the SWOT analysis and what you have learned about your organization's structure, culture, and interrelationships to write the summary. Your summary must:
1. Explain how you would match the organization's strengths to its opportunities.
2. Analyze how you would convert the organization's weaknesses into strengths.
3. Explain the actions the organization needs to take to advance its goals and/or expand its competitive advantage.
4. Analyze interrelationships among distinct functional areas of the organization and how it may affect your SWOT analysis.
