Write a 750-1,000 -word paper in which you translate your course learning into a personal leadership development plan. Your plan should define a strategy for maximizing your leadership effectiveness.

Include the following in your paper:

Identify leadership theory(ies) to support your leadership development plan. You must integrate theory with citations from the literature to illustrate why the theory you chose supports your plan.

Discuss your leadership strengths and weaknesses and a plan to capitalize on your strengths and modify your weaknesses. Please support your discussion of strengths and weaknesses with your scores from the self-assessments.

Identify gaps between the leader you are now and the leader you would like to become

Discuss how you will use your plan to impact your leadership, your followers, and your organization.

Discuss how you will assess and modify your plan to ensure you are on track.

Consider your plan not just a paper to satisfy course requirements, but a living, working document.

Use a minimum of five references to support your synthesis. References should be peer-reviewed sources from the University Library and not textbooks, newspapers, magazines, dictionaries, or non-scholarly websites.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines, which includes:

- Properly formatted title page

- Organize the discussion by using subheadings reflecting the main topics discussed; remember the introduction does not have a subheading

- Properly formatted in-text citations

- Properly formatted references per APA guidelines

- First person is acceptable for this paper, but minimize the use of first and second person.

- Avoid the usage of words on the 'list of words to avoid'.
