Leading as Ministry Paper Guide
Address the following areas in your written response, indicating how and why you will lead as a ministry to your organization.
Why You Will Lead as a Ministry
From a philosophical perspective, explain why it is important to lead people in an organization as a ministry (using a Biblical worldview).
Be sure to address:
- Why it is important to view leadership as a ministry
- The principle of stewardship, because God's ownership is foundational to His purposes for you as you lead people in an organization
- The role of evangelism and personal or professional development
How You Will Lead as a Ministry
Identify and describe 5-7 Biblical leadership principles or strategies that you will apply as you lead. The majority (3/5 or 4/7) of the items you identify must be strategies to lead people. Give an example of how each principle or strategy identified might be applied; indicate an outcome that may be achieved through each application.
Support each leadership principle or strategy with Biblical passages and at least three scholarly academic references. The scholarly academic evidence must support why each of these principles or strategies will help you lead people effectively towards accomplishing a worthy goal.
Be sure to address:
- how your skill set, personality, and interests will affect the way you lead people
- how you will lead people in such a way to achieve measurable, worthy organizational goals
