This is a COMPONENTS OF ASSIGNMENT simulated recruiting and selection situation to help you understand how the various pieces of the process fit together. The job used must be a managerial role.
RECRUITMENT STRATEGY
write the report describing how you will advertise the job to attract the right candidate audience. The report must include the strategies used internally and externally, with rationale and evidence to support your approach. It must also include a strategy that considers the electronic/internet mediums.
1) Hiring Policy: what approach will you take in terms of internal and external candidate hiring for the role.
2) Recruitment Strategy: Provide a description of the approach you will be taking to recruit for the position (e.g. job boards, job fairs, social media, print media, organizations, referral system, headhunters, internal posting) and provide a rationale for your approach. How will applicants apply what language will you use in the postings. How will your approaches differ external versus internal.
3) Social Media Strategy: how will you use Social Media as part of your Recruitment Strategy (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Provide a rationale for usage.
4) Job Requirements Matrix: Must use the tool and complete task statements using the formula taught in class
5) Job Posting: list the job and organization and include the Job Posting you created, but enhanced using organizational branding and appealing language.
6) Realistic Job Preview: describe tools, information content included in tools, and rational for strategy.
7) Budget: Your Guide must also include a budget outlining the costs of your Recruitment Strategy.
8) Strategy must be supported by research evidence.
