Question: Your assignment this week is to do a News Compare/Contrast Paper. You will need to compare and contrast the same story from at least three types of media (i.e Television Broadcast, Radio spot, Online News Article, Newspaper Article). You will need to document when, where, and how you viewed the news presentation, and sum up what you saw, and then you need to write how the different news media compared and contrasted.

This paper should be two full pages (with no heading on your paper), again regular MLA format, one-inch margins, double spaced, correct spelling and grammar, etc. Submit your paper through the link above.

Some ways that you can compare and contrast the various media formats would be to talk about their ease of accessibility, depth of coverage of the story, etc. What did one do really well, and where did another not excel? Which media was your favorite and why? For example, you might look at an Internet news page, watch one broadcast news program, listen to one radio news program, and or read a local paper.
