1. Consider the test bank that students in a fraternity, sorority, or other organization maintain. Is such a test bank an example of a content management system? Is it a computer-based system? Does it need to be computer-based to be considered a content management system? If it is not computer-based, describe advantages of having it be computer-based. What features and functions would you want in such a system? How could such a test bank be indexed? By professor? By class? What other dimensions might be used for indexing?

2. Assume you developed the system in question 1. Is it legal to use such a system? Is it ethical? Assume that your system is unavailable to all students. Is it unfair? How could you apply the skills and knowledge you obtained in developing such a system to your future career?

3. Explain how the challenges for content management systems described in this chapter extension would apply to the test bank system in your answer to question 1.

4. Explain how you use collaborative knowledge- sharing in your MIS class. Differentiate between techniques that are sponsored by your professor and techniques that you and your classmates have evolved on your own. Are there techniques described in this extension that you do not use? If so, describe how you might use them.
