Importance of the job interview (Assessment task)

In this module, you have studied all the steps related to recruiting personnel in companies. One of the crucial steps in this process is the job interview. During a comprehensive interview, you will be able to realize the importance of the process, as well as how the applicant thinks and how it is analyzed. The questions you will ask the candidate will be very important so that you can make the best recruitment decision.

Read, study, and discuss Chapter 6, "Employee Selection" from the following resource:

In addition, you can read other relevant resources (optional resources, videos, and others indicated by the teacher). Remember to use the Virtual Library database.

Write an essay where you analyze and explain in your own words the different types of interviews and provide an example of each.
You should present an introductory paragraph where, offer your central idea and expose what your task is about.
In your essay, you should explain and offer examples of the following types of interviews:
Non-directed interview
Structured interview
Situational Interview
Behavior Description Interview
Sequential and panel interviews
Telephone interviews
Computer interview
Video interview
Then, you must make a comparison and a contrast of the different types of interview. In this comparison you must expose:
How they are similar
How they differ

In addition, you must design the interview format that you understand is perfect (you can do it by combining the different types of interview). Here you should be very specific and detailed as to how you understand the structure of that interview should be.
Finally, present a conclusion where you explain the importance of a job interview and its consequences. It includes a reflection on appropriate practices to avoid discriminatory behavior in an interview process.
