Problem: This project provides you an opportunity to examine "who you are" and "how you have come to be who you currently are" as an individual and as a member of your family and cultural community. You are expected to explore your cultural roots, including your family history, racial, ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, and family traditions, values, and beliefs, as well as other significant childhood and adult experiences that have contributed to the person you have become today. You can focus on one significant event or a family member that have influenced you if you will. Also include a reflection on how these experiences prepare you to embrace the opportunities and challenges of cultural diversity either as a future teacher or other professionals.
