Okay, now that you've listened to Gladwell's chapter one and read his chapter two, you have a little bit better of an understanding of what it really takes for someone to be reach expert level. Now it's time to present some of the information you have learned.

Directions

First, you will create a "poster" with the following information. You could do this by hand with good-ol-fashion paper and markers, or you could use a computer program like Microsoft publisher or Google Slides. How you choose to make your poster is up to you, but you must follow the directions below.

Choose one of the people/groups Gladwell discussed in the 10,000 hour chapter.
For that person /group do the following:
A picture of your person/group and what he/she/they did.
A claim about whether that person was intrinsically or extrinsically motivated.
Two pieces of evidence from the reading (in evidence sandwiches) that support the idea of the person being intrinsically or extrinsically motivated.
How this type of motivation led to him/her/them being successful.
How this person was able to get 10,000 hours of practice.
How the lesson of "10,000" of practice could apply to any of us as students.
