Question: write a 1-2 page single-spaced self-reflection paper discussing how your perception of corrections and punishment has changed as a result of taking this course. There are no write ways to write this self-reflection paper, other than to be honest about how this course has impacted your views of our correctional system and how this may impact your future endeavors moving forward. Only members of the teaching team will have access to your self-reflection paper.

The purpose of self-reflection is to take a minute to evaluate our positionality in relation to punishment and corrections and to address how education can impact the way we think about problems in the world. It is my hope for each of you that you will not think so much about "what you want to be when you grow up," but focus more on "what problems you want to solve." In doing so, your path to being a changemaker may become more clear on how you can best use your skills and talents to solve important problems.
