He states the fever comes and goes but the cough is persistent and productive of yellow sputum. He also notes general fatigue. Vitals are as follows: temperature 100.4°F, pulse (P) 98, blood pressure 139/87, and oxygen saturation 96%. The patient's chest x-ray shows diffuse interstitial infiltrates. How would you treat this patient?
