In 2009, an entrepreneur on Shark Tank pitched a business idea built on a technology which would allow consumers to surgically-implement Bluetooth technology into their skull (see below). The technology came complete with a charging port, allow consumers to plug themselves into a power source each evening to maintain Bluetooth capability. Flash forward to 2021, and there is a rapidly growing industry built on similar technology - a surgically implemented Bluetooth capability with most companies offering wireless charging.
