She is an only child and her parents are divorced, which reminds you a lot of your family situation when you were growing up. Amanda is fairly shut down in your first meeting, unwilling to engage in much conversation or even the ice breaker activities that you put together. When you ask her why she doesn't want to work with you, she says that no one understands what she is going through.
