Question: How would you go about writing a client program in python that accesses a server, sends some information, then processes the data it gets back in parallel?

For example, connecting to a (provided) server, sending a request for information, then getting the information back like: some_data_a|some_data_b|some_data_c|some_data_d.

Then splitting that by the | char so you have four pieces of data. Then encrypting each in parallel, and sending the encrypted versions back to the server in another |-delimited string.

Please just explain how you could do this in python/what it might look like.
