Write a 2-3-page essay, based on the readings, in which you present your own explanation for how these atrocities could occur. Be sure to consider the following questions. Which of the arguments provided by these scholars do you think best explain how these atrocities could occur? Which do you find least convincing? How do you reconcile the differences between the explanations that some of them provide? How would you explain these events?
