Recently you have noticed that several of the four- to eight-month-olds are developing the cognitive skills to imitate behavior that they see or hear. You know from your background that these infants are in Piaget's Substage 3 (Reproduction) of Sensorimotor Development. You decide to create planned activity to help them further develop the skills associated with this substage.
