1. How would you define globalization? Can you give an example of a country or two to explain the economic/commercial developments observed in the world since the 1980s, when globalization gained momentum? In your example, it is sufficient to show the developments in foreign trade volume and per capita income growth since 1980. I expect you to do this as a graph or table and showing the source.

2. Could you briefly explain the effects of globalization by listing? Can you identify the negative and positive ones among these effects and choose the ones that are important to you and write the reason?

3. Which institutions were decided to be established at the Bretton Woods conference? Could you briefly describe the aims of the establishment of these institutions?

4. Why is economic integration necessary? What are the main economic integration types and stages? Briefly explain each with an example.

5. There are growing differences between developing/underdeveloped countries and developed countries in terms of per capita income, technological developments, quality of social life, security and law. What are the main factors that seem to be the reasons for developing/underdeveloped countries to lag behind? Why can't these factors be real reasons

6. What are the elements that should be in a healthy functioning economic institution? What should we understand by the principle of rule of law, which is the most important of these factors?
