Scenario: You are responsible for human resources planning at Great White North Credit Union. You forecast that the Credit Union will no longer need 6 employees in head office over the next 6 months. You also know that there are two new branches that will be opened within 50 km of where most head office employees currently work. You were planning on hiring to fill 3 positions in total for the two new branches over the next 3 months but there are no other new positions available after that.

How would you best describe the current labour situation? Name it and give a definition of it.

Given the information in this scenario, develop a strategy with four ways/options that you would use to deal with the situation so that you reach a balanced state by the end of the six month period
