Case Study: Mrs. Lieberman and her daughter.

Mrs. Lieberman is hospitalized due to her cancer. She is receiving chemotherapy. The nurse and her daughter are in the room discussing the care plan. Mrs. Lieberman states, " I am so tired, I no longer want to continue with chemotherapy". The nurse is confident in fulfilling her wishes and advocating for her. Mrs. Liebrmans daughter asks to speak for a moment outside the room with the nurse. As soon as both are outside the room, she anxiously states, " My mother doesn't understand the need of her treatments; we need to do whatever it takes to save her."
