Question: Mary had made reservations at the Chariot Hotel in Genting Highlands for 3 days and 2 nights. She had made her reservation for a standard room.

On the day of her reservations, Mary had checked into her hotel. Mary enjoyed her first day by going on the various rides offered at the Theme Park. The second day Mary had decided to stay in her room as the weather was bad and it had rained the whole day.

That night after spending the whole day in the room, Mary suffered severe breathing problem. Mary had to be rushed to the nearest clinic for some medical attention. Mary informed the doctor that she was asthmatic and the doctor informed her that the breathing problem may have been caused due to several reasons such as dust or a cold weather.

How would Mary proof negligence against Chariot Hotel if the cause of the severe breathing problem was the fact that Chariot Hotel staffs did not vacuum the room on a regular basis

Waja arrived at “Proton Inn” restaurant for dinner. After having a look at the menu, Waja ordered for the Lamb Chop. A while later, Waja was served with his Lamb Chop. Before eating his Lamb Chop, Waja noticed that the Lamb Chop had a different smell. As he was already hungry, Waja had begun eating his food without checking to see the reason for the different smell. Having enjoyed his meal, Waja had paid for his food and left the restaurant. Upon arriving at home, about an hour after having his meal, Waja suffered severe food poisoning and was rushed to the hospital.

Upon being checked by the doctor, Waja was informed that the food poisoning was caused by consumption of spoilt meat. Just at that moment Waja remembered eating the Lamb Chop at Proton Inn and that the meat did have a different smell when it was served.
