YOU ARE AN.
Intake Officer
Scenario 1: J. J., a sixteen-year-old juvenile, and several of his friends were hanging around outside a local bar during his hometown's annual Bar-B-Q Festival. At approximately 10 P.M., an intoxicated man left the bar in his car and hit one of J. J.S friends, causing serious injuries, including a broken leg, a broken arm, and a collapsed lung. J. J. chased the man down an alley, where the man, because of his intoxication, hit a light pole. J. J. pulled the man from the car and proceeded to hit him several times with a metal pipe that J. J. found in the alleyway. J. J., who admitted to the act, said he was trying to stop the man from hitting any more people and did what any good citizen would do. The beating by J. J. resulted in a broken jaw and several head contusions. The man made a complete recovery.
