Blue Skies Brewery shows a bank account balance in their accounting records of  $1,882 as of October 31st. However, their online banking shows a balance in the account of $1,945 on the same date. When the company CFO explored the information more carefully, she identified the following:

  1. Checks totally $263 had been written on the account toward the end of October that were still outstanding.
  2. A deposit for $340 was made on October 31st and reflected in the accounting balance, but not reported by the bank until November 2nd.
  3. The bank charged a monthly fee of $15 at the end of October that the company had not recorded.
  4. The bank is returning a $63 bad check from a customer that Blue Skies deposited, and the bank subtracted that amount from the account balance.
  5. The bank collected a $300 note receivable for Blue Skies, plus $18 of interest; but the bank also deducted a $20 collection fee.
  6. The bank erroneously recorded a customer check that Blue Skies deposited; the check was written for $182, but the ATM incorrectly read the amount as $102 when it was deposited.
