Joe is 19 years old and lives in a rural area of Nebraska. He works six days a week at a factory in town producing plastic goods that get shipped all over the country. Since this is one of the few factories left in his town, he feels very fortunate to have a job but works very long shifts and does not have any benefits like paid time off or health insurance. At the end of the week, he has made enough money to pay for his rent and buy food for his family but is not able to save very much and lives paycheck to paycheck.
