Video: In our discussions of Joan of Arc, I had you think how women are portrayed or ignored in history. After watching this short History Channel Documentary give some of your thoughts on this in the discussion below.

Question 1. Had you heard of any of these women before? In many of my class discussions I still get educated men and WOMEN say that women are too weak, too emotional, to be president of the US. Women have been warriors and leaders for thousands of years. Our president does not have to have combat with anybody just lead the troops as commander in chief. Why do you think this type of thinking persists? Do you think a lack of strong woman being talked about in school and the media would contribute to this?
