For this assignment, you will compose a well-written and thoughtful short-essay of 500-750 words in length (2-3 pages). Select and answer one of the four questions provided.
You are not writing a "five paragraph essay," but a college level paper. The introduction should clearly state what you will address in the paper and in what order.
Example:"There has been much debate about moral relativity in the last decade and I would like to continue that discussion here. After providing a scholarly definition of moral relativity, I will argue that even though moral relativity has some merit, it is still possible to hold some actions as objectively wrong. Specifically, willful murder and rape, at least conceptually, are held with enough universal disdain that they can be seen as objectively wrong regardless personal opinions."
Then for this paper, the next paragraph would contain the definition of moral relativity followed by some scholarly objections to the theory. These objections will segue into another paragraph justifying one holding that some actions are or should be seen as objectively wrong.
Then the paper will transition into a paragraph or two on how willful murder and rape, as concepts, are seen as wrong by enough societies that they can be seen as objectively wrong.
