The action plan is the heart and soul of the consultation process. The mechanics or steps in developing and delivering an action plan are the Four Ds: (i) Data gathering, (ii) Devising strategies and intervention, (iii) Delivering the action plan, and (iv) Debriefing (Dahir & Stone, 2016). Using the Four D's process the following Case Study and share what you would do for the FIRST TWO D's only. (Do not post action plan or debrief).

Ms. Nygren tells you that her student, Quinn, "is sleeping in class, disrespectful, and unmotivated". The teacher seems frustrated and says "I don't know what else to do". How will you proceed using the Four D's. Be specific (what types of data can you gather, what specific strategies could you use?).
