Research Questions
You should identify in this section your key research question(s) or hypothesis(es) which will provide a clear focus for your work.
3. Identification of previous research in the field (800-1,000 words)
Identify the topics which your literature search will cover. What are the most significant areas of research that will be used to underpin your studies? What key texts do you propose to use?
4. Proposed Research Methodology (1,300-1,500 words)
How do you propose to gather the data that will enable you to answer the questions you have posed? (eg: by conducting semi -structured interviews / by undertaking classroom-based observations / by analysing school performance data)
What research design will meet the needs of this study? (eg action research / case study). Ensure that you make a sound case for fitness for purpose of your proposal.
