Practical Evaluation of Organization Behaviors
Envision yourself as a consulting team. In a group of approximately 5 students select one organization of your choice and drawing on research and organizational behavior theory evaluate it in terms of the following:
Focus on Org Behavior theories and issues and prepare a report offering advice to the managing partners on 1 of the topics following.
1. Identify an issue or issues and offer solutions for improvement to the Executive Director.
- Indications are Etihad and Emirates airlines want to merge to become the world's largest airline. How will you integrate the cultures to be an effective new airline?
- What went wrong with Nokia that they went from the largest mobile phone player to almost bankruptcy? How could they have avoided it.
- What did Kodak do wrong that they disappeared? The largest supplier of film and owner of the original digital camera patents to bankruptcy. Drawing on the theories, what went wrong, what would you recommend to have avoided the disaster?
2. Briefly describe the organization.
